I've tried several linux distros like Fedora, Ubuntu, Mint, Arch, Kali. But NixOS was the best one imo. GuixSD might be a better option. But it's very aggressive to non free software.

You would have to go through some blogs and documentation but it's not that difficult. I'd say NixOS is slightly less difficult than Arch linux.
