Don't ever come to America. You don't even have to look like a protester for the cops to shoot you.

If we go back to Reddit, they win
I haven't been this excited about the internet in a long time. It feels good to be a part of something that belongs to us, the people. Watching this grow gives me hope that one day we actually will be able to break free from capitalism.

Why it's not possible to touch my forehead with my left hand and my right foot with my right hand at the same time?
Do you have arms? I've found this usually helps me.

Biden administration forgives $39 billion in student debt for more than 800,000 borrowers
Reply in thread
If you guys would take the time to read the article you would see that this is not the same debt forgiveness plan as before. The plan cancels the debt remaining for students who have been making payments for 20 years. It's not a one time action but will be available to anyone in the future under the same circumstances.

A "supervolcano" in Italy last erupted in 1538. Experts warn it's "nearly to the breaking point" again.
"According to LiveScience, Campi Flegrei is often referred to as a "supervolcano," which can produce eruptions reaching a category 8 — the highest level on the Volcano Explosivity Index. However, Campi Flegrei's biggest-ever eruption technically ranked as a category 7, which is still considered a very large and disastrous eruption, LiveScience reported."
Ah, nothing to worry about.

Elon Musk Really Broke Twitter This Time

It really makes you wonder if all the "billionaires" aren't exactly like this. Born into infinite privilege, surrounded by yes men and sycophants every minute of their lives. They become walking disasters who have to be managed and distracted constantly, kept far away from the actual business.
This instantly reminded me of Succession on HBO. It felt so over the top when it first came out but the more I learn about the ultra wealthy the more believable the show becomes.

why do my legs ache when I'm having a fever?
My muscles ache every time I run a fever. No matter how I adjust my body I'm in pain. I don't know how common it is but people usually look at me funny when I say it's the worst part about getting sick for me. I always assumed it had something to do with my muscles still recovering from the gym when the fever shuts my body down.

Do you believe Lemmy/Mastodon can become mainstream and fully replace their centralized counterparts?

I've only been on lemmy.one and I'm reading through this thread thinking what technical problems? Seriously people need to try a different instance because apparently they run much better.
