they passed that law in 2022 with a ban for 2035. that is more than enough time to build infrastructure.

and apparently MSFT has more than $80b in GPUS sitting idling in warehouses since they haven't built (if they ever do) the data centers to run them.

EV sales gathering momentum

there are some many people still stuck worrying about charging times. When I bought my current car it was the only thing people asked me about. No matter how much I told them it was a nonproblem, they seemed unconvinced.

Toyota's best-selling Corolla is going electric, and it will be made in China
I had an hybrid corolla and It was rock solid, no nonesense. I really like it. I would have bought an electric version if they made one at the time. They offering is super weak. I don't get why they dont make an EV yaris to compete with the BYD dolphin or the Renault 5

Companies Are Realizing They’re Spending a Fortune on AI Just So Their Employees Can Generate Error-Riddled Slop, and Suddenly Cutting Back Budgets.
they cut our copilot budget to 19€ per person (you can request more. but of course it’s a hassle)
they still insist AI the future and more AI is better. they are just now shifting the blame to employees: “you need to think more about how you use it”, “you cannot just throw tokens at a problem”, etc
two months ago I got an email from a manager asking me why my AI spending was so low.

I was about to do my breakfast and realize I do grab the pan with my right hand and it’s me that leaves the handle crossing through the stove.

You've Just Been Hit By The Front Burner Gang
I find it curious this is the case. I always assumed i like left front burner because i’m left handed. but why wouldn’t right handed people prefer the right hand burner? do you leave the handle crossing through the whole thing?

yes. i realized that after doing my breakfast. I assume it is because that burner tends to be the most appropriate due to its size
