Nekem tetszik, amire én használtam a redditet, azt tudja/hozza, kivéve persze, hogy nem annyira vannak emberek. Én leginkább az r/hungary miatt jártam redditre, sajnos onnan kb. senki nem talált rá sem a lemmy-re, sem pedig a kbin-re. Amit furcsa volt megszokni, hogy a különböző szerverek üzelemtetői döntik el a "játékszabályokat". Először a beehive-ra regisztráltam, de az ottani helytartóknak eléggé based világnézetük van és úgy éreztem, hogy nagyon homályos, leginkább szubjektív szempontok alapján döntenek arról, hogy kit tegyenek ki. A manifesto tartalmazott majdnem minden woke témát és kifejezetten folytogatva éreztem magam, mire a végére értem.

Én androidon jerboa-t használok. Nekem jól működik és látszik, hogy a fejlesztők eléggé ráfeküdtek, hetente többször jön ki valamilyen frissítés.

I agree, this concept of decentralization is not really widespread. I consider myself informed in topics of open source and privacy, but I also needed to get used to how e.g. searching for communities work. It is definitely not as convenient as reddit, where you have a search bar and can seek out any community, here you need to browse several nodes to find the communities you are looking for. It would be nice if Lemmy caught the interest of many and things like this could be worked out.

My wife sends me products she finds interesting and they all contain the facebook tracker at the end. It is a scientific fact that women are better consumers, hence ads are mostly created for them. My wife hates ads while watching videos, but taps on them during scrolling all the time. Fortunately I haven't been asked to get her off pi-hole. It is tricky with ads, as you think that they are offering a solution for something, but in many cases they are establishing a desire you did not have before.
