You can do base 12 on fingers! You count each of the 3 segments on each finger and ignore the thumb (you can use it to keep your place), so you can count up to 12 on just one hand! :)

Pippin: Pips, Pipsqueak, Fool of a Took, and Peregrine Took when he's naughty.

Teddy: Ted, Tedders, Mister, Prince, and Theodore/Trouble Monkey when he was naughty

At the end of the day it's another tool that makes the process easier. Not only does the user have significant artistic control but it is a great way to lower the bar for people to work on something they feel a responsibility for- which is a great way to encourage more traditional musical skills.
