Time for a new course

The end of software engineering will come when the end of world comes. Many clients have realized the mess caused by AI slop and the bugs it creates, the mess it makes while resolving its own conflicting pull requests and the haunting hallucinating in long prompts. Also, the cost involved in long run is bonkers for the trash quality.

They changed "circle back to it" to "triangle back to it". This person must be fun at work. You make something that is slightly off but sounds familiar and everyone goes into a state of self-doubt of "maybe I remembered it wrong, they must be right". 😂 "Idea fridge" is probably some kind of backlog or product backlog.

Pilot project

I kinda see it lol, at work I see people dragging themselves to Friday. And on Friday, they'd do so much work and wrap up things that would otherwise take time. The excitement of "there's no office tomorrow" and the motivation to clock out on time on a Friday evening is like the adrenalin rush!

I feel seen

"It just does the job on any machine and good luck if you use a shared drive on a dual-boot system." would be my answer. I settled for Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop after using Ubuntu and Cinnamon for 3 years. Windows and MacOS remain my primary OS because my main workflow only works on those two. Using Linux just for normal and shady stuff.

None of them are as cheap as mentioned in the post. But the snakey boi wins easy. The spiky boi is good if you wanna connect multiple devices and WiFi based file sharing in ecosystem setups. But the snakey boi has no dropping WiFi packets issues because it is simply internet plugged into your computer. Plus, WiFi travels through your walls the way it wants. Snakey boi travels through your walls the way you drill the holes to pass the cable. So, snakey boi wins always!
