Ramsdale signs a new contract [@gunners](https://lemmy.world/c/gunners)
@gunners this is an experiment to see if I can post from mastodon and it’s working?
Seems if you tag the community, it submits it as a post on Lemmy.

Kaya Kaynak: Saliba, Tomiyasu, Martinelli and Zinchenko all reported back for training yesterday but weren't in pictures
@I_am_the_grass hopefully Saliba had to arrive back to sign a contract 👀

[Fabrizio Romano] Kai Havertz has been very clear with all parties involved in the deal: he wants to play for Arsenal after green light on contract this week #AFC.

@Astrealix somehow I completely forgot we signed Jorginho.

@Astrealix seems to be working okay right now. Only thing I don’t like is that on lemmy you see the tags of who I’m replying to.

@ironeaglebird yeah, if I had to guess if day Trusty is gone (at least on loan)
I’m personally not as sold on the Balogun rumors. With CL going on we will need three strikers and (if we get him) who knows where Kai Havertz would play.

If you are on mastodon and want to follow the Arsenal Lemmy community you can.
@gunners any replies you have will end up over there and responses that people have on Lemmy will show up here.

@kleautviool I’ve been using Memmy and I think the latest update just got it to the point where I can go “okay, this is usable” still far from ideal but it’s not frustrating to use.

@I_am_the_grass yeah, I've switched over to a lemmy account. I found an app (ios) that seems to work okay after a recent update.

@Astrealix I believe it’s their username followed by @ and then the instance they are on. Not going to actually tag them but I think it would be @ EFG @ Lemmy.world

@gunnersaurus @ironeaglebird @WorldcupCSR @ronsboy67 mm yeah that’s true. I was thinking mainly from an Arsenal perspective and wasn’t thinking about it from Balogun’s wants. Good point!

@ronsboy67 @WorldcupCSR @ironeaglebird I think this is what they are kinda doing with the US tours. Not as direct, but kinda the same idea.

@merc yup completely agree. Reminds me a bit of the internet before social media.
I also like that you can pick the UI that works for you. For an example, I’m viewing Lemmy communities on mastodon because I like playing around with the Twitter-esque layout. But someone else might prefer the Reddit format, etc.

How much will Kai Havertz's love for donkeys help him at Arsenal?
