Moin, also ich habe gerade ein Problem mit einem legacy gerät.

Da läuft eine Software drauf die über serial connetion eine Verbindung zu einem anderen gerät herstellt. Die serial Verbindung ist über usb (ftdi). Leider kommt es in seltene Fällen vor das die Geräte sich verschlucken und den handshake nicht mehr vernünftig hin bekommen. Das einfachste ist dann usb-kabel raus und wieder rein. Läuft alles unter Windows 7. Die Software kann ich nicht verändern, aber zusätzlich Sachen raufspielen.

Mein plan ist das logfile mitzulesen und wenn bestimmter Fehler auftritt etwas machen :) Erster plan war serial port oder usb-port per software disablen und enablen. Geht leider erst nach nem reboot. Fällt damit raus. Zweiter Versuch war nen virtuellen serial port zu erzeugen über den ich dann Kontrolle habe. Da finde ich aber keine Software die ich steuern kann (am besten .net) Alternative wäre irgend eine Hardware die ich per Software steuern kann. Habe mit nem billig kvm-switch rumgespielt. Das funktioniert, aber ich brauche was zum schalten via Software.

Moin, ich brauche eine nette Lösung um binaries zu verwalten. Das heißt unterschiedliche Setups gehen an unterschiedliche kunden. Will mir merken wer wann welche Version bekommen hat und ggf mit Anleitung für besondere Schritte.

Vom Prinzip ist es ne Excel Liste und ein network share mit Ordnern. Hätte das aber lieber in fancy. Wir können diese Microsoft powerapps auf Arbeit verwenden ... Da sträubt sich in mir aber irgendwie alles.

Habt ihr ein tool für sowas oder Ideen?

hat jemand eine Empfehlung wo man sich offizielle Daten (zB den deutschen Bundeshaushalt und Ausgaben für 2023) "einfach zugänglich" ansehen kann.

Mit "zugänglich" meine ich grafisch aufgearbeitet/interaktiv nicht der Zugriff auf die Daten als solche.

Moin, ich habe zwei Geräte die in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge starten müssen. Gerät 2 sollte ca 30 Sekunden nach gerät 1 angehen.

Ich bin kein Elektriker und hatte gehofft das es soetwas in master-slave Form gibt. Alles was ich finde sieht aus als müsste man da selber was zusammenbauen.

Bin über Empfehlungen dankbar.

Hello everyone, I got a New sound card (Soundblaster g6) and use it under xubuntu 22.04

The problem is that the default settings of the card are not usable for my use case. For example, the capture device is always set to line-in (instead of external mic) whenever i boot or replug the device.

I changed the settings with alsamixer to my likings and stored the .state file in my ~/.config/ folder When i run restore after reboot all is good. Unfortunatley not for long as the cards keeps going back to its default settings once in a while (sometimes every minute)

I try to solve this with a bash script that restores every 60seconds.

My question is how do i make my stored .state file to the default the card resets to? So i dont have to restore every 60 seconds.

Hello, I have currently two seperate pc's.My daily driver running Ubuntu and one windows machine for playing pubg. The Linux system hosts discord and also occasionally games.

In my current solution I use a simple analog audio mixer to control the outputs of both devices. Unfortunately I get pretty mean coil whine effects from the windows machine when the game is running. This is annoying for me, but even noticeable for persons in the discord.

I fixed it by using the optical line out from the windows PC in combination with an external DAC and then back to the analog mixer... This works but the setup looks more and more like a birds nest.

Now I am looking for a solution that allows me to :

• mix digital toslink with sound of the Linux machine in one device
• I need real world buttons/wheels to adapt the sound of both machines independently and without software

Any ideas?
