I also don't follow why permission would be required because effectively what I've done is tag the post with a group or community. It isn't creating any more uncontrolled copies of the content because the federated instances cache their post and provide it regardless once they have posted it.

But I have asked for permission. I will remove it upon request and I will consider this in future for OC content (I didn't realize it was OC when I reposted).

A little, but at the same time, some glass things are extremely durable and since it's in a person, what could they do to break it that wouldn't also hurt them significantly. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Like glass marbles are pretty durable. Some can be chipped by being thrown against cement but they don't create rediculous shards like windows or explode like tempered glass. Not to mention how easy they are to clean.

Definitely require a bit of inspection before use though :p

Apparently there wasn't a mod. I have added a rule for this and in theory there is now a plugin to add flairs from that [M] in the title. This should allow people to filter posts in their preferred client.
