What are the career fields where you definitely don't need a LinkedIn?
I have never used Linked In for getting a job. I am an RN. I will apply at the company/hospital websites... basically whistle and they call me.

I don't know if I was part of any major purge or not... I had some temp bans from a bot and then finally a permanent one, just expressing a wish for some blood clot to break free. I mean, it was way less expressive than other posts but I was marked for exit due to violence?!. I felt sad. I deleted an account, made another and then got re-banned within 24 hrs for no specific post, just for trying to overcome the ban... then I did a bit of research and honestly decided they suck, I don't need them and life offers better platforms. I hate this current internet shitification level though. The way I was treated... well, I kind of understand why people decide to be trolls as a lifestyle behavior. I am not a troll though... just a bit rowdy and irreverent.

I did drugs before DARE. So, we knew they were full of shit. However it was the late 70s so we had legit caution about drugs that were administered with needles so avoided those... Then the cocaine era happened.

Actually it was the job of Congress to do that. Any Executive Order Biden signed could be reversed (and most were) by the next CIC in the WH.

I don't understand how this can be predicated on an "emergency" of fentanyl being transported over the border when he is actively pardoning domestically incarcerated cartel members and escorting their families over the border and handing them green cards (for a $$$$ price).

DARE should have just told me that pot would just make me really sleepy and make me eat too much... causing an 8 lb weight gain overnight. That would have been enough. They should have avoided telling me anything about speed.

I can't comment there anymore. However, now and then I check posts/comments that seem interesting to read but perhaps the subreddits I check are different than yours. Also.. the GenZ influence is staggering. I miss the old internet where people just developed a thick skin and still engaged. But then, I am old.

Technology and social media are entirely under regulated with basically no privacy restrictions. Look what DOGE has done to the entire American Federal agencies.. "Read-Only"-- As If. They just pirated all our information.

I definitely had/have undiagnosed something but I don't blame the drugs... those came after my lived experience being socially awkward, rocking to soothe myself and mostly daydreaming all day and forgetting homework existed. I can't imagine what my mother was thinking trying to comb out my rats nest hair in the morning. No wonder she had it cut really short.

He may try to take over one of the companies developing CRISPR technology to grow himself new organs... or just buy some from a shady body parts dealer in the 3rd world and claim that he had them grown using CRISPR.. (lie like he always does) and make big promises on how you will be able to special order your cure at a kiosk in 2 years.

News about her generally irritates conservatives who go out of their way to criticize and mock her. So I while I am generally aware of her and admire her commitment to the environment, her ability to get press that annoys the conservative ultra capitalists who hate windmills and solar fields gives me joy. She just triggers them while never thinking about them.

They should have just warned that acid would make you lose a few days. Shrooms will do that too but also land you in a bathroom for hours backandforth... was it just so much fiber??? I never experimented soaking them in hot water for a couple hours before ingesting like dried food mushrooms.

Did you read her book? I have it on my TBR list but it is a long list. I usually like to read fiction but try to do a nonfiction/memoir in about every 3-4 books (I read about 5/wk which varies d/t length).

I was kind of surprised to find so many that were banned and denied even their appeals. I chose not to appeal because it was obviously they were power addled assholes.
