What about checking via dbus?

I need to setup notifications here. I am not familiar with how qml works, but can't ituse qt native integration, like the one documented in the kde page

Note: you might encounter a bug where in different activities or active window, these shortcuts are calling the apps from the default activity, instead of currently active one. Not sure if this has been reported yet.
