im definitely a beginner with a couple other hammock outings but my setup worked great.

-camo tarp from harbor freight 11x9 i think

-Eno double nest hammock -hammock straps from some other hammock i have

-wise owl bug net (dont reccomend)

-marmot sleeping bag

not the lightest setup in the world but it all worked very well and didnt break the bank

Just a normal tarp from harbor freight with a hammock, bug net, underquilt, and sleeping bag. I've always dreaded sleeping in tents (waking up sucks) so i went this route. Way more room and its nice being able to sit in the hammock in the morning to put on shoes and stretch out a little bit
