Hmm this is really weird. It seems to only be broken for jpeg files. Gifs work fine. I'm not entirely sure why.

Update Figured it out. Will fix in a patch release.

Looking into this now. As a temp. workaround, there is a setting to use Imgur for image uploads. You can enable it in Settings > Misc > Use Imgur.
