Anybody else feel so annoyed when western leftists say "It WaSn'T rEaL sOcIaLiSm" despite the massive evidence to the contrary?

Depends on what you mean by Russia. If you mean the Soviet Union, then yes, they were most definitely socialist, even though revisionists would later take over and steer it towards the path of complete capitalist restoration.

If you mean modern Russia, then no, they are not socialist, they are capitalist. They have more state-owned industries than normal capitalist societies and oppose the West, but that's like saying Iran is socialist because the exact same description I just mentioned fits them as well. Just because the Russian government sometimes says good things about the Soviet Union doesn't make them socialist or wannabe socialist either, they are just trying to win over the many Russians who are nostalgic for the Soviet era. The Russian government is very much anti-socialist.

The slander of the DPRK is the biggest slander of a country in history

Can't believe that South Korea is often portrayed as this OmG wHoLeSoMe PaRaDiSe!1!1!1! when they legit have a lower birth rate than Japan, have some of the most depressed and suicidal people on the planet, some of the longest workhours, and all this on top of historically existing to be an anticommunist dictatorship.

Meanwhile, North Korea has active worker participation in society at large yet it is portrayed as this bleak dystopia and the worst place on Earth.

Working people so hard that they are driven to suicide just to own the tankies.

Rock bottom can always get deeper.

This will totally not collapse the Argentinian economy in the name of pure "free markets" and "individual rights".

Gonna be one satisfying comedy to see ancaps finally get their dream country and see it fall apart while deluding themselves that it is working perfectly.

Are kids even treated like humans?

I honestly don't have any thoughts on this right now other than we need to discuss this. At the time of me writing this, there are no comments on this post.

This issue is often dismissed, but we Marxists criticize and breakdown every amount of our society in hopes of building a new one, and the role of children and/or childhood shouldn't be an exception to this.

Also, what are your guys' thoughts on the concept of youth liberation? Do you support the idea or reject it? Should it be implemented immediately under socialism, implemented gradually as productive forces grow, or not be considered at all?
