king sized rule
I can tell the author is a smaller person. Someone over 195cm (6'5") does not feel like there are oceans of bed.

I sold when it hit $1000 the first time. Bought a new computer with the money. It crashed to like 600 right after. I thought I was a genius....

I 100% support people to transition. I don't think people should get to pick their own names without any veto.

15 year here. And I probably used reddit for a while before making an account.

I don't think its ALWAYS true that the effort is equal. I think that for important things that need to have very low error rates it is going to be equal or exceed. But if you are doing creative writing and have writers block. Generative AI can help give ideas that can be helpful even if wrong because you can identify why they are wrong which might point you in the right direction.

We need to stop pretending AI is intelligent
I used to think "it's just predicting the next word, I can't possibly be intelligent the way I am" But more and more I think that's pretty much all I do. Try playing a quiz game, like jeopardy. When the question is up all I do is predict the most likely next word to be the answer.
I don't think there is anything special about consciousness or thinking. If it produces the same results we do.. maybe it's not doing something special, just that we are less special than we thought.

DMs, what are your favorite parts of running this game? Players, what are yours?
My favorite part of DMing is to hide some inside joke into a dungeon or campaign. So everything seems like generic fantasy world but upon completing some quest it results in exposing some silly that is some dumb joke my friends.made years ago. That reveal is the best. I think in general it's that I get to juxtaposition silly things and serious moments throughout.

Battletoads was the best. Especially since it let you "accidentally" attack your ally/little brother.
