So potentially a dryer Spring and Summer this year? I enjoyed not having water restrictions last year, but I'm really over the rain now

I went to bed at a reasonable time last night because I couldn't do my usual scrolling of niche subreddits while lying in bed.. The sync dev is making an app for lemmy, but I'm starting to think I should just leave it off my phone

Good advice. I've just been lazy and they credited me a free static IP when they switched to CGNAT, so can't be bothered updating everything

Good morning team! Still trying to figure out lemmy and kbin now that my app of choice is dead..
I'm a little confused, I signed up on a different server/instance, I can't login on the lemmy.nz instance but I can still post from the other server to it, is that right??

This might be a bit niche, but does anyone have some good resources on creating or setting up solar powered systems? Not as in for the house (hopefully in the future though!) Moreso just smaller projects so I can learn the ins and outs of it. I'd like to get involved in this space, but don't really have any experience in it.

Ah thanks. So does the home instance matter at all? Seems like not really as long as you can subscribe other instances?

Dehumidifier's been working overtime the last week, so have managed to get things dry inside in a reasonable time

Uh oh, I better let my partner know, she likes keeping those bags because we use them as bin liners

A shame, more competition is always better for us. Quite a few of them now under 2degrees/Vocus group. I've been with 2degrees for long time, but haven't had any cause to change yet.

I thought about this recently too and ended up getting a dehumidifier instead as I figured it has more uses than just a dryer. In Winter we usually end up putting the clothes in front of the heatpump. I find running the dehumidifier in laundry mode beside the clothes for a few hours at night, makes them dry by the morning. Bonus is we can dehumidify our bed rooms when we don't have laundry to dry. We did pay $600+ for the dehumidifier though, just something to consider.

I use Narwhal on iPad and the dev seems to be able to keep it going for a few months until he gets subscriptions going. It sounds like he’s worked some kind of exemption out with reddit, but won’t answer any questions about it in the thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/getnarwhal/comments/14kt9wj/narwhal_is_not_going_anywhere_subscriptions_and/
I'm sad Sync is gone though, it was my main on my phone.

I was about to take the clothes out on the airer and a bloody rain cloud was just blowing in on the horizon! At least the winds will get it on its way soon hopefully.
