I often find it to be a chore too since it often takes longer than I want butt I always take the time to do it as pest I can to minimize accidents. They're a buzz kill for me. I have a routine that I'll share since maybe it'll help you with yours.

I bought one of these and in the shower (wearing rubber gloves in case of accidents, totally optional) pump in some water, wipe off my butt w/ a paper towel, hop on the toilet and wash out. In the toilet I put down a layer of toilet paper beforehand to prevent poiseidans kiss lol. I repeat this multiple times as needed.
