And you pause, and you place your thumb in just the right place on their wrist, and you tilt your head a little and make eye contact, and you reach up slowly with your other hand to brush your fingers behind their ears. And just like that, you can do whatever you want with them. They're yours.

And you feel so powerful, in that moment, that you feel like you can change anything in your life, control whatever you want. Not just them, but maybe even yourself.

On absolutely no proof, I feel like clothing probably evolved as more of a protective measure than a privacy thing at first, regardless of the Abrahamic stories. Shit gets too hot, or too cold, or otherwise too exposed to the elements.
