We've been active before the AI-slop era, even before the existence of ChatGPT :)

Edit: I didn’t expect some people to start nitpicking phrasing and digging through my profile over this. OFC I use AI, That was never some huge secret. The point is that my workflow is not ‘prompt in, product out’ in the vibe-coding sense.

Linkwarden is more like a Read-it-later + Bookmark manager combo which also saves the webpages itself.
Notion is a proprietary knowledge management system.

In simple terms, link rot is when the contents of a link you saved from the past is longer available.
Firefox sync does save the link url itself, but the actual content is susceptible to being taken down for any reason.
A tool like Linkwarden both saves the link url as well as the content itself, so you'll have a copy even if the original content is lost. All while taking collaboration into account.

Collaboration, making your collections public, better organization, self-hostedness (idk if that's a word), better UI and so on...

You can disable preservation and sync Linkwarden with your browser bookmarks using Floccus and it can serve you as a regular bookmark manager.
