…and I find that Lemmy/kbin/Mastodon (and the rest?) work really well in a browser, obviating the need for dedicated apps. Dedicated apps are nice though.

I’ve joined the matrix room but I can’t see any messages - and I get the message “you do not have permission to post to this room”. Am I doing something wrong?

I think I’ve fixed it. There seem to be two Artemis rooms and the one linked to in the post is the wrong one.
