LinkedIn

I'm in the corporate world, I'm a hiring manager. I refuse to have a linkedin. Everyone says they wish they could do the same - then do it. Do the same. Nothing happened to me, nothing will happen to you other than your life being better because you aren't on Linkedin.

Stop being an old person. Just because things are different doesnt mean it's worse. It's the same in a different way. I had pogs and power rangers. Kids now have memes and tiktok. Whatever.

...what criminal record? Weed charges? Drug charges as a kid? That's concerning to you?

He was acquitted of murder. So - not guilty of murder. 30 years ago.

The sexual abuse case against him was dropped. Completely dropped by the accuser. We won't know what happened. Maybe something did - but you can't make baseless character accusations or assumptions. Case was dropped, that's the end of it.

I'm not a snoop boot licker or anything, but I don't really think he's a bad person, given his criminal record and all.

A woman took her sick puppy to a Maryland shelter to be euthanized. The dog is up for adoption again.

It's a valid reason. If you surrender the dog because you don't have the resources to take care of the dog, then that's it - youve made a one time deal. Your ownership for the animals life.

She signed the animal away. She saved its life by surrendering it, but now she needs to move on with the knowledge that the dog will be safe and loved - the end result is no different for her. She no longer has the dog.

It's not meant to be harsh. It's the reality of rescue. The rescue has to protect itself and the animal. When she's in a better place, she can adopt again - there are so many animals that need help.
