Problem with Public gallery

Reply in thread

I heard there's also the system in which an ID may be "banned" if way too many people ban it. It's sadly the only way of "report" we have in galleries, but know that it is indeed a thing. But I believe this is not your case. People must post "really unpleasant" (as in, very illegal) things for it to happen, and sometimes, the system "fails". Moreover, as for the possibility of someone not liking the content that apparently your gen is about, the chance is still quite small. Most people won't step in generators that are clearly not for them. For example, I neither try yours, or the furry one, and the furry one is VERY famous, and the reason is simply because I'm not really into men (at most, I'd try yours in case I ever want a hot self-insert or whatever), and I'm completely not into furry (at most, I'd force myself to try it to complete a commission, since making furry art is a common fate for artists in the web, and yeah, there are some specific ways in which I can see AI as art, so one day I may end making something I can say it's art).

My private gallery's gone and need help

There's a "disclaimer", at least when you first open the private image gallery, saying that the gallery is stored in your device only, on your browser cache. The problem: browser cache is often erased by the browser itself to clear up space.

For that reason, you must always save your images yourself, either in your device, or on cloud. Given the nature of your image, and many other reasons, I recommend always using local storage, since cloud services tend to be too annoying with what you save there (Google for example explicitly forbids saving NSFW on Google Drive, and anyone who does so is only surviving through luck and they may lose their files at any time).

In the end, this looks like to be a case of it, although...

Upon searching "internal error opening backing store for indexeddb.open" on Brave, their AI gave the following forms of prevention:

  • Avoid force-closing apps during database operations.
  • Ensure sufficient disk space and proper file system permissions.
  • Use app.requestSingleInstanceLock() in Electron apps to prevent multiple instances.

And the fixes often included restarts, reinstalls, clearing cache, and many other things that also including "erasing things".

Upon looking at your screenshot, I notice that there are 99 tabs open, and there's a chance there's more and this is only 99 because of the limit in digits. And based on the kind of people who does it, there's also a considerable chance that you also have many unused apps and even "open but not being used" "windows" on your device, which makes the situation worse.

Therefore, I have the theory that the issue was likely caused thanks to the sheer lack of space on your device/browser, which caused perchance to glitch and erase all your things (in case it didn't come back after countless restarts).

Therefore, besides "start saving your images on your device properly", I believe that you should also close this absurd amount of tabs, since they may cause many problems. In case you want to save them, bookmarks is a way better way to save things you want to take a look later.

Anyway, just a tip: learn to "hide" what you were doing before on things you post online. Here you are anonymous (I believe), and people will only make jokes about "masterpiece, best quality, ultra detailed hentai illustration, seductive bride" (I for one think it's pretty ok to have desires for one's own wedding night, and it even makes me want to make "handholding" jokes). But that's not always the case.

If you post it on the wrong place, for the wrong people, it may end up bad. There are cases, for example, of people who became big jokes because they recorded themselves on their bedroom but they forgot to hide their dildos (cases like, family photo, online job interview, and so on). There's a chance your case is not far from it.

If you have no problem with this kind of thing, or if you use this account for the purpose of such things already, no problem. But I'm just warning you that showing such intimate side is not always what people want to do.

I'm saying this more because some people do worry. Not everyone use nicknames that are completely unrelated to them and all. Personally, I have accounts for "those websites" and accounts for general use, and on accounts for general use (either social media or even games), for reasons, I often (not always) use my "real name", real face and so on, so it would be quite problematic in my case.

My reasons for why they would be problematic are quite simple and not that bad, but there are those who, for example, live in places where certain things are forbidden.
