I would love to set up a proper text thread just like the one I did on Reddit but:

• I find the text editor on Lemmy a bit more difficult to use and the layout looks a bit narrow (see below)
• Even with Reddit halting third party app, it is also true that Lemmy has absolutely zero mobile app for iOS. At least to me, this makes updating posts a bit more cumbersome than doing it for Reddit (especially since I try to attach links from news sites as sources).

That said, it is certainly an option for users to use the post on Reddit for the information (not that it is particularly difficult to find) and discuss it on Lemmy if they so prefer.
