Tip: Nearby Share can send entire folders from your Android device to other Android devices, Chromebooks, and Windows PCs through the Files by Google app
also tip: KDE connect can integrate stuff from your android phone into Windows/Linux like a fucking dream. it's been a while since I've used a cable when I have to transfer files between my phone and pc...
it's not just file sharing either. clipboard sharing, notification, media controls, remote input, slideshow cursor, you get the idea right... it's too useful. and it's crazy to me that there's no inbuilt solution from google yet

I see different background color for the posts (it seems random)
those are read posts. you can change the read posts background colour to match the posts background colour if you like. looks like lemmy automatically marks posts as read as you browse through

Society IF
I'm all for linux, but it truly isn't in a state where it can be widely adopted by the average users(I'm talking about laptop users here). it'll take years for achieving even the current level of usability that Windows provides out of the box. popular DEs like KDE still ship with god awful garbage touchpad drivers for machines with bigger than average touchpads. and their gesture implementation is nothing short of atrocious. and this is all before even getting into other problems such as fractional scaling in Wayland and how Firefox no longer comes with hardware acceleration enabled by default

since I can't edit the post: the first nitpick was just me being a stupid idiot. we have to enable comment dividers from interface->comment setting

it won't mark all the posts you open as read. which is weird, i agree, but the workaround I mentioned is pretty easy to do
