My comment really wasn’t meant to point out what I think of Joe. But rather, to point out the insanity of a person with four indictments and two impeachments, being the republican front runner.

I can agree with that, but most republicans seems to be a bit extremist these days. So, that’s not really saying anything good about him or his supporters.

Putting aside what we think of him, the rest of the world thought he was a joke, and I highly doubt the way he handled his loss, helped any.

[Rant] Cloud service is not a reason to have phones with only 128 GB

It is and it isn’t. Let me preface this by saying flash storage should not be as expensive as it is. That being said, you may think 128gb is low, but most people aren’t going to want to be forced into paying more for a device that starts with 256, especially when plenty of people get on fine with 128. Not when the price will reflect the larger storage. If you think they are going to up the storage and not the price, you’re dreaming.

Especially on an iPhone, since it only has one partition and isn’t using extra space to fill a B partition with another OS.

If you’re just a casual user, who just uses a few apps and needs portable access to the internet, 128gb is plenty.

Cloud storage isn’t really a solution to augment your storage capacity, since you don’t actually own it. If you stop paying your cloud subscription, all of your data goes bye bye.

TL;DR stop crying and pony up for more local storage. I’m paying an extra 400 or so for 1TB.

"Prior phone problems" the top reason for Android users switching to iPhone

Coming from a Pixel, I can confirm this. Google really needs to stick to software. When they dabble in both, neither is a pleasant experience.

That being said, you can go round and round about why people switch or which is better. Being from Gen X, I appreciate and respect the technology. I am also not rich or have parents to buy me a new device every few years when Android devices lose support. I try to get the most for my money, and no I am not talking about features, that’s subjective anyways. I’m talking about actual value for the money you spend, and iPhone wins that category in spades.

There is no device that offers longer support. No to mention, their customer support is phenomenal.

There is no other device that retains value as well. Mainly because they don’t have to give out free sh!t or put their devices on sale, to get you to buy one.

And other than Samsung, no other device has B&M stores you can visit.

Those aren’t subjective either, they’re facts.

That being said, those 3 things far outweigh any perceived benefits of owning an Android device.

Also, if Android was that great, you wouldn’t need communities creating custom software to make them run the way they should have, right out of the box.
