7x Outdoor plugs all on one circuit, all back-stabbed. Pool pump plugged in on the last one in the circuit.
Customer reporting pool pump not working. Only getting 1.6V at the receptacle, all others showing 120V. One wire in it, so obviously last one on the circuit. Went to the one before it, found this. All of them backstabbed. Reterminated them all before I left

I’m driving a Ford Lightning. 120V will get you out of a jam but even overnight it’s pretty useless. Would have gained maybe 80km. We’re 4 hours from home.

On receptacles it generally is a bad idea. Things being plugged & unplugged all the time makes for little micro movements of the device that will wear at the thin connection and over time cause a problem. It’s not as big of a problem for switches, not as much movement and beating around

That would be nice. NB is getting better but there really aren’t many public L3 charging options in PEI. One in Borden Carlton, one in Charlottetown and one in Summerside. The rest are all 7kw, basically overnight chargers for a lightning

It wasn’t too bad actually, we just closed the window to the cord and kept the lights off in the kitchen.
