How did you discover Lord of the Rings?

We actually had to read The Hobbit in an AP English class (roughly a decade before the movies, not to carbon date my fossilized ass or anything). I remember being so engrossed in the story, that I went to the school library, checked out TLOTR Trinity, and burned through it in about 2 months or less. I have to say though, it's really worth reading The Silmarillian for additional context and deeper lore, if you haven't already. It's a hard read (think bible read, then followed by over a hundred pages of genealogy), but still worth it.

This is called glazing bead. It's used between the door and the surface of the glass to hold the glass in place. You might be able to find a comparable replacement at a window supply or aluminum warehouse that services glass in doors and frames. Good luck!
