Gran Turismo 6 - 1080P (PS3)
I recently dusted off my PS3 and started playing old favourites and games that were new to me.
When I had my original phat PS3 back in the day, I owned Gran Turismo Prologue HD (Is that the proper name?) and I thought it was ok but didn't catch my attention.
However, in playing GT6, I'm surprised how much fun it is to play and how good it looks. The photo mode I think is especially impressive.
This photo I've called, "Dad on school run shows the professionals how it's done!" 😁
New version of Stephen King’s ‘The Mist’ on the way from Mike Flanagan
A new adaptation of Stephen King’s The Mist is on the way from filmmaker Mike Flanagan, so reports Deadline. The new film is set up at Warner Bros. Pictures and will a new version of the 1980 King novella which has previously been adapted into feature by Frank Darabont, all of the way back in 2007. Ten years later it was retold as a TV series, and now nearly a decade on from that, it will be updated once again.
The story revolves around a strange mist that engulfs a small town where strange creatures lurk. The story was part of the Skeleton Crew collection, which also included The Monkey, which was turned into a film by Osgood Perkins quite recently.
Flanagan has previously brought new versions of King’s work to the big and small screen with the likes of Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep and Life of Chuck. He is also working on a series based on Carrie over at Prime Video.
I think the film was fantastic. IIRC, even King loved the ending which is slightly different to the original novel.

Warner Bros. Physical Media
While we stand on the cusp of the transition of Warner Bros.' management as the Hollywood legacy studio will soon be under the control of Netflix, there may be a mad dash of sorts to get all their past physical media titles. Luckily, for years, Warner Bros. has also regularly licensed its catalog to boutique labels like Criterion, Arrow Video, and Shout! Factory, ensuring a wide range of titles are available, with some getting a luxury treatment they may not have received otherwise. What will happen to the library once it's placed [under Netflix](https://www.joblo.com/netflix-warner-bros-physical-media/)? Well, good news for collectors and TV fans! Some truly obscure titles may see the light of day in glorious 4K.

New Single Player "Alien" Game Coming
Sorry, I was half asleep on my phone, I must have accidentally deleted the link before posting. Here's the bulk of the information.
In the works since at least 2020, the title sees players trying to survive being aboard a decaying space station. They have to evade a mix of xenomorphs and spec ops units with gameplay involving combat, platforming, stealth, resource management, and puzzles.
Currently, the title is being described as “Shadow of Tomb Raider with xenomorphs” in its current form. The project stalled for a while as it switched developers, but is now reportedly at Eidos Montreal – the developers behind “Shadow of the Tomb Raider,” “Deus Ex: Human Revolution,” “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Thief,” and the upcoming “Fable”.
The $75 million budgeted game also reportedly boasts an AI enemy system designed to adapt and react to whatever tactics you use.
The main character is an engineer named Aubrey who can use grappling hooks and magnetic boots. There’s the villain Ryuzo, who uses the space station as his fortress. Finally, there’s Ripley 8 – Sigourney Weaver’s character from “Alien: Resurrection”.
Sadly, for us, it's still in early development, aiming for a 2028 release.

There has been evidence of this new remastered original trilogy slowly building online over recent months. This is due to the restoration company posting short clips to a quiet unknown YouTube account.

Gal Gadot shares rarely-seen screen test with Ben Affleck on 12th anniversary of her Wonder Woman casting
I tried to post the video here, it's only a few megabytes but Voyager (app) or the server refuses to accept it.

Just an FYI, when I was on twitter years ago, I followed one of the writers of Men in Black, Ed Solomon. (He was half of the duo that created Bill & Ted.)
He was still recieving notices from Sony that he wouldn't get any residual cheques from the original release of the first MiB because technically, it was still in the red.
From a franchise that was three films in, an animated series, merch and at that point, I think MiB International was in development.

Speaking with io9, Cameron said, “I’ll have some time to write and to consider my next projects and the order in which I do them and so on once we’re done with the marketing on this in a month or so. I’ve got a stack of notes this thick [holds fingers about three inches apart], which is how I start all my scripts, on what I want to do with a new Terminator film. I’m going to pour myself into that as a writer. It’s difficult. I have to tell you. Science fiction has caught up and is actually overwhelming us at this point. We’re living in a science fiction world, and we’re literally having to deal with problems that in the past only existed in science fiction books and movies. Now we’re living it for real. I’ll never be as prescient as I was back in 1984 of imagining this one because I don’t think anybody knows what’s going to be happening a year or two years from now. But I at least want to future-proof myself by being a couple years out.“
