Honestly? Google has been killing every project it started, so even if this happens, I guess it won’t last long anyway

I like the idea of Signal, and would probably love to use it, but everybody I know (and everybody is still don’t know!) is using WhatsApp, and there’s no way they all are going to migrate.

Actually it was on my phone. Was, because I wasn’t using it and iOS auto-uninstalled it haha but yeah I agree; it’d be lovely to not be dependent upon Meta
