Tory aides invited to 'Jingle and Mingle' at Covid party
Wonder what the next thing they are praying the public won’t see is? Maybe there was a bit of light child sacrifice after the drinks? What an absolute shower of hypocrisy.

Average two-year mortgage rate close to 6%
Brokers have described a vicious circle of lenders putting up rates at short-notice, then borrowers grabbing deals, leaving lenders inundated and having to pull or raise rates again.
Apparently it’s our fault for actually buying the things on the market.

Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 15 Pre-Orders

I’ve got a 12 and sticking with it for now. The X won’t get the new iOS which I think means 6 years of firmware support. I can see this one lasting 5-6 years. Definitely a good thing - can remember avoiding iOS upgrades when they would slow down older phones beyond being usable.

People will make retrospective arguments about what others were doing. But the fact that we have to trust these people and they prove themselves to be hypocrites time and time again means they should not be working in some of the most senior, influential roles in public office.

Keir Starmer won't commit to more money for public services

Yeah they’re 18% ahead in the polls. It would be foolish to make any promises at this point - he doesn’t need to and only risks giving the cons attack headlines and losing votes. Until they have to produce a manifesto and while the tories continue to self destruct, these are the sorts of statements / interviews you’re going to get.
