De weinige keren dat ik Nederlandse subs lees, vermijdde ik altijd r/thenetherlands want dat was zo'n streng gemodeerde groep met weinig echte artikelen. Vaak alleen maar links naar artikelen. r/nederlands was een verademing in het begin. Veel leuke vragen en interessante discussies. Nu is het een linkse hel geworden. Iedere post is anti boeren, alles is de fout van rechts met name VVD, stikstof is gigantisch probleem dus geen huizen bouwen maar wel klagen dat ze geen sociale woning kunnen vinden.

Net als de post over Rotterdam. De meest geupvote comment is dat het allemaal de fout van rechts is. Toen iemand feitelijk bewees dat sinds 2012 de PvdA en nu groen links de grootste partijen zijn, kreeg de meeste downvotes want dat past niet in hun beeld.

Geen wonder dat er geen reet meer kan en mag in Nederland.

It is amazing how green the city is becoming. This year 120 new parks are or will be opened. In addition to the new parks, the city plans to add 1,000 hectares of green space and 2,000 hectares of forest. The same goes for many tier 1 and tier 2 cities.

Most of the precious waterfront along the Huangpu river are walk and bike trails for 45 kilometers, filled with different parks and flora.

In the few years I have lived here, the city has turned green. Along most streets are trees to keep cool whilst biking. Most westerns think China is dirty, polluted, desolate place but the amount of new forests that are and have been planted all over the country, is quite astounding.
