What we did in our subreddits is using an URL shortener and linking a part of the text to the short URL. That works really well

There is a NSFW checkbox when you create a post. It should be checked automatically when you create a post in a community that has set themselves as NSFW

As far as we understand it (lemmy is still pretty new for all of us), you can upload images and videos directly to lemmy. If you want to use an image host, I would suggest redgifs.com (though we haven't tried it here yet)

Seems to be quite manageable. And I have one other user @[email protected] which I mod a lot of communities with that would probably help me :)
