imgur is the absolute worst on mobile and no I don't want to use your shitty app to see an image. Stay as far away from it as you can.

The only reasonable alternatives are things that give you a direct link to image. I used pixhost a few times and it was fine but I'm happy to find alternatives.

Agreed, I know there are workarounds with custom css extensions but it's a bit of a pain on mobile. A theme that's oled black and compact would be fantastic.

I'm on nvidia, have 2 screens mixed resolutions and mixed framerates with kde plasma at the moment. I use jetbrains a lot which only really works through xwayland. I've tried every nvidia friendly DE there is and nothing ended up working consistently. I had been on wayland for more than a year on my previous Intel gpu machine but I had to go back now to x11 for stability and haven't really had any issues ever since. Think whatever you wish but nvidia still has a large market share so until wayland works solidly with nvidia then lot of people will have issues with it. I imagine it works great on amd same as it does on Intel. (yes I know it's debatably nvidia's fault for this mess)

I really dislike pnpm, if everyrhing you do is install and build then if doesnt matter what you use, if you do anything complex pnpm will come back to bite you. Yarn is a good middle ground

If that's a common requirement for you than sure do whatever works for you, I'm more than convinced that Linux has solutions for this, from the top of my head appimages, flatpaks and pkgbuilds. I'm rolling arch without a worry and it's smooth sailing.
