Lots to improve on. Thoughts on the Onana penalty? I think we got lucky there

How Signal walks the line between anarchism and pragmatism
Great article. Signal has achieved a lot but still faces huge challenges. This article puts that all in perspective nicely

I really enjoy wingspan, so I will be keeping a close eye on this one

Ostrich Chick (with its mothers leg in the background for scale)
Came across a brood of these chicks in a nearby National Park. They stay in parental care for up to 9 months, and only 12% of chicks per nest grow to adult due to their susceptibility to disease and poor weather.

I’ve just joined the community, but I’d be happy to move across wherever. Both of the suggested instances make sense

Was really nice seeing Shaw on the left for the first half. A lot of great passing sequences.

Looking forward to the Bayern Game
Me too. I don’t have high expectations but we playing better football when in possession, so hopefully that can start turning into wins.
It’s also fantastic to be back in the Champions League. Let’s hope we can stay there for a while this time

Our attack wasn’t very good either, we really struggled to create good opportunities

Good takes here, agree with what you are saying. I think we gave them a couple too many chances to say the plan worked well, but we definitely did very well against the high press and used it to our advantage in the final third of the game

It was frustrating to see how difficult it was to progress the ball with the Ugarte - Mainoo midfield. Hopefully it was just an off game from them.

[✅️FT] Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal
Second game in a row where Garnacho has been a great threat from the right side, where he more likely to pass than shoot from. He and Mazraoui linked up really well in the second half

I don’t think there were any atrocities in the decisions. Arsenal we’re a better team most of the game.
We did look much better towards the end of the game when both teams were a bit more open, especially when we had a strong target man up top

Manchester United issue Mainoo update [ruled out for the first part of the 2023/24 season]
Horrible news. Really unfortunate injury, especially for someone who was looking really good so far in the preseason
