Wait a minute, how can a mobile 3060 (12GB one) be faster than the desktop version?

Unfortunately habit is hard to change. It also doesn't help that federation is quite confusing, especially for non-tech people. The apps being pretty much in alpha/beta is another problem. I'm having a hard time browsing lemmy on my potato phone. The website seems as heavy as new reddit. Kbin is a little lighter. Maybe there's another hope when the API is finally dead and the apps become useless.

Do you browse from PC or phone? On PC there's a setting for DoH in Firefox. Go to Privacy & Security, scroll down until you find DNS over HTTPS, then choose Max Protection. It's similar on the phone too.

Sorry I didn't know the answer, but it's nice that lemmy also has rss! How do I use it, just add .rss behind community link?
