Reddit slowly migrated away from being informational, to being identity based political vitriol. Want to know what's currently happening with the president outside of biased left and right wing media? Too bad, but here's an unflattering picture of him playing golf that we can all rage at, or get banned from 5 different subreddits at once because you don't agree all cops or landlords are "bad".

If this is a site that bans you for "mis-pronouning" someone because of toxic reddit-like politics, then you (and everyone else) would be better off not even being here. Just my 2 cents.

4chan still being around is weird. You can't post or do anything, and their captchas seem intentionally broken. Sure you can pay a nominal fee, but the whole point of a board built on being anonymous, demanding you dox yourself to post seems out of touch.
