Two things can simultaneously be true, Daniel can be an individual who engages in very problematic behaviours and GrapheneOS can still be the most-secure and reliable OS out there.

It is; I would be mindful that one blurred house on a street of unblurred houses probably creates more intrigue to anyone casually looking at that street.

Do no do this, it will require more info to Google and make your house stick out like a sore thumb.

Howdy, I work at Proton, this is incorrect: https://proton.me/blog/proton-non-profit-foundation

A nonprofit is the largest voting shareholder of Proton.

The best work on this is being done by ORG IMO: https://action.openrightsgroup.org/tell-your-mp-online-safety-act-isn%E2%80%99t-working

Kick them some change if you can afford it too.

Unfortunately, the petitions sub exists in order to divert justified and righteous anger into clicktivism. Your MP's inbox, however, is open.

Do people often tell you they like surveillance because personalised ads are useful? That's a madness

I just carry physical cards. I don't really understand this "every step away from google must be painless" attitude.

There's Beeper and bridges like Heisenbridge which could do this work but the crucial question here is why? The frontends you're talking about help to obscure you from sites on the open web; there's not going to be much of a benefit to adding another party into your chats, which are linked to your phone number.

Using Cursor =/= "Vibe Coding" people need to really stop with getting jumpy about everything in such a way.

As an owner of both a pinephone and a pinebook pro I would say don't with the phone unless you're really prepared to completely upturn everything you do with a phone. It's really not at a place where it's a simple consumer-grade device to be used in place of your current smartphone. My pine now gets used as a part of my home automation setup and it works well for that. The pinebook, however, is absolutely magnificent and I take it with me anytime I need a device I'm not so worried about losing and that crucially CAN CHARGE OFF A PORTABLE BATTERY OMG!

"Kim Dotcom said it" holds about as much weight to me as it being said by my postperson tbh.

Swisscows is Bing, Kagi has multiple sources. If you've not enjoyed using Bing in the past then your decision is pretty much made for you there.

All Watched Over by Machines of Glue on Pizza

I believe you're talking absolute nonsense.

That's 1-1, no clear winner as of yet.

this, especially as graphene seems to support devices outside of when google would

What is the point of posting something from 2015?
