I went with the HDHP this year after trying the 'premium' option from my workplace last year, and holy fuck, the HDHP actually costs LESS than paying for the higher tier plans. It's fucking awful that I have to pay 10k before my shit is covered, but I still spend less overall on this plan.

I've rocked a JIS phillips for years, and it works better on 'regular' phillips screws than a standard driver does. I've actually used that to salvage a screw that was damned near stripped by a standard driver. I stilil have to use my extraction set more often than not when that happens, but it has saved me a few times.

Some people will eventually understand that they're wasting your time (when they clearly have something they want) by waiting for you to answer (and effectively have to wait on them) before they respond with what the ask is when you could have just answered it the first time.

It's not your building, heating system, or property, so you don't fucking open/break it. You open it and you're likely to be dealing with an uncontrollable amount of rather hot water, and a very angry landlord/neighbors.

Call your landlord (AND DOCUMENT IT) and complain until they fix it or tell you to fuck off. Don't do their maintenance for them unless you're willing to pay for any repair costs when they have to undo and fix properly.
