Christian Horner cleared of inappropriate behaviour

While it's suspect on the surface, offering a financial settlement is a very common tactic in regards to avoiding backlash, regardless of whether you are actually guilty or not. Now I'm not saying for a second that him being cleared must mean he is innocent, but the money being offered really isn't evidence of any guilt like you'd think it would be.

How Teens and Parents Approach Screen Time: Most teens sometimes feel happy and peaceful when they don’t have their phone, but 44% say this makes them anxious.

There has to be a happy medium between not isolating your kids while also protecting them from what is a highly corrupting environment. Maybe this is just hindsight, but I look back at my unfiltered internet access as a kid and am pretty pissed off that my parents didn't get more involved.

With the ubiquity of inflation and shrinkflation, why aren't there more boycotts? When will people say enough is enough?

It's so effective, but you just can't expect to get everyone on board sadly. Unfortunately it seems that there will always be those that value the convenience of Amazon, for example, over pushing for real change. Look at Bud Light, I hated the reasoning behind the boycott but it showed just how powerful collective action can be against corporations.

Does anyone else also "hoard" Stremio add-ons?

Reply in thread

Yeah this is all I need. A couple of weeks ago it was going down most nights so I still have my Kodi build with Seren but it only gets used as a backup these days. Would love a few add-ons like Fights on Demand through Stremio though, only thing missing for it to be the perfect streaming solution for me.

Possibly, but it's unlikely we will ever hear the facts of this case, I mean we still haven't had confirmation that the misconduct was even sexual in nature, it was first reported as him bullying a reporter if I'm not mistaken and without the facts we can't say what motivated her to reject the settlement offer.

Affinity is joining the Canva family

I've sent them an email, not too hopeful I'll get any information out of them about their pricing model going forward though.

Edit: They replied but they just gave a copy and pasted statement from the press release that Designer V2 users will own in perpetuity, nothing regarding future plans.

What's your take on private trackers?

I've never really used them as most content I can find readily available on public sites. I do want to get access to the World Boxing Video Archive one day as that is an area that seems to be pretty barren on public sites, unfortunately it seems that the registration is forever locked. Maybe I'm wrong but they all seem pretty pointless unless you have some pretty niche tastes in which case they can make a whole lot of sense.
