Beloved Maid: That Which Survives The winter on Felicity III wasn’t supposed to be this cold. Princess Aevina Vaesh of Xaltea has only just woken from a coma.

Hidden in a mountain cave with the Terran who saved her life and the battle maid sworn to protect her, she has one hope of outlasting the season, and it dies with the last of their power cells. To survive, they must cross a frozen wilderness to an abandoned geothermal plant, with an old hermit as their only guide and the soldiers of Lord Baneth of House Tavik hunting them the whole way. Cold, exhaustion, and old guilt will test them as much as any enemy.

Some will crack. Others will learn what it means to be a family.

Sometimes survival isn’t about being the strongest. It’s about who you survive with.
