Assumption: There is another federal US election. Assumption: That election is legitimate. Assumption: The Democrats win that legitimate US election.

So with those assumptions in mind, what do you think that the Democrats would do with their new-found power? Just repeal any/all executive orders and legislation that got passed during Trump’s reign of weirdness (the sledgehammer approach)? Identify and reverse the worst specific transgressions of the current administration (the scalpel approach)? Keep everything because it benefits their corporate "sponsors" but act all righteous? Something else?

And what would happen with the Schutzstaffel Immigration department, DOGE etc?

I have noticed that over the last 20 years or so, the idea of the police giving warnings ("you're going slightly faster than the speed limit, but I don't want to give you a ticket for 5kph over" sort of thing) just doesn't happen. Is it just me, or are there still warnings given for minor traffic errors?
