Since then, I've been moving my PC (not server) from arch to nix, and discovered that I was relying on fundamentally broken DNS resolution behaviour on netbird.

Fixed that and also changed my Caddy config to use FQDNs as well.

Apart from that, added Gollum as a wiki server, and the experience has been perfectly amazing!

Still waiting to get my own mini-PC and use that, current shitbox is a desktop in my college.

Silos being shoved to a corner is nice advice. I'll move some buildings. Thanks!

I am short on sprinklers and waiting to get a few more before I start farming seriously (only have 8 crops around the 8 tile sprinkler rn). Paving and flower section I'll keep in mind too. Thanks.

Pretty sure ffmpeg lets you extract audio channels from a video and even add them. You can probably look up the commands online, I don't remember off the top of my head

Thanks! The website seems amazing. I'll look into it when I'm planning properly. And yeah I'm also leaning into 5x5 plots for iridium sprinklers, or maybe 7x7 if I unlock the pressure nozzles.

I'll look into sheds as well, it has been a common advice.

I am in Y2 summer, mostly done with all the pantry except artisan (I think 1 left), animal (2 left I think), and specialty crops (all left 🥲).

I'm thinking of it this way, I'll visually divide the regions using paved paths and then place a shipping bin in each section. Along with some signposts to indicate where I am.

I do have crops, forgot to label them. Only 8 crops right now, since I only have one of those 8tile sprikler and waiting to build a few more of those so that I can start farming easily. I want to unlock iridium sprinklers (dk if I have already) and I also want a lot of iridium for that.

I'll create the paths and visual markers, that's been a constant advice and it makes a lot of sense.

I actually do grow crops! It's just that I have only one sprinkler atm (the 8 tile one) and I want to get some iridium sprinklers to get the farm going.

How do you like to play the game?

I usually focus on one aspect and continue that one for a while. Eg, in game, a couple of days of mining, a couple of days of fishing, a couple of days of foraging, maybe a day here and there to do other stuff like quarry mining. And so on. Usually I have a morning routine of 'water plants if needed' (right now there are only 8 because I put farming on the backseat for community center stuff, mostly got done with all except for the quality crops bundle), 'collect mushrooms from the cave thingy next to farm', 'pet the chicken', 'talk to my wife' and stuff like that. Then the rest of the day goes in activities like ones I mentioned above. When I'm not being lazy, the evening goes in going around and selling my stuff in stores that'll pay me the most, otherwise I just put them in the box :p

About the play, haha yeah. I agree. I'm taking it rather on the fun side (what's the point of rushing here, I literally bought the game to relax null I was really just wondering what experienced players keep in mind.

I believe aesthetics and functionality can coexist peacefully, just wondering the how and where and what.
