Jellyfin 12 Released
@Mountaineer Great to hear. This #jellyfin has been a long time coming. But I'm waiting for the 12.1 or 12.0.1 release. I want to see the tires kicked a bit first.

What's a good audiobooks server/client combo?
@DonutsRMeh #Audiobookshelf is the way to go on #android. My family does not use #ios at all so i can't speak to that. It is one of the most used piece of software I #selfhost other than #nextcloud.

What are your favorite RSS feeds?
@AgaveInMyAss #nextcloudnews Let's me keep all of my RSS feeds (non-podcasts) synced between my devices. I already run nextcloud anyway, so I don't have to stand up another service .

@early_riser I use #unifi for #switching and #wifi. I enjoy those products. I don't like their #NAS and #routing options.
I ran #pfsense for over a decade, but since the 2.8 release you can't do an offline install. So I switched to #opnsense.

How do I securely host Jellyfin? (Part 2)

@catloaf @litchralee As they shouldn't trust a self-signed cert. If you can run Jellyfin, you can run an internal CA and DNS server. Create a .internal domain in your DNS server and create certs based on it. Then just roll out your root ca cert.
