[Fixed 403] Changing NSFW filter changes app theme after restarting app

Bug Report

Describe the issue: The nsfw filter seems to reset to Show after restarting the app. If you try to change this setting, it resets your theme to "light mode". Looking in the theme section of the app, there is nothing selected in the drop down, but at the bottom of the modified settings list, I can see my theme was changed from amoled to "darkly-pureblack".

Theme is the only setting that seems to change (asside from nsfw not persisting), and I haven't noticed changing any other settings causing the theme to switch to light mode.

Theme reset

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select a theme
  2. Change the nsfw filter from Show to hide/blur/transparent
  3. Restart app
  • The apps theme should now be white, and navigating to themes will show no selected theme.
  • The nsfw filter will also be reset to Show.

Frontpage/Local/All default feed setting clearing itself

Bug Report

Describe the issue: Normally there is a (D) symbol next to whichever feed you set as your default when starting the app. For some reason, this setting seems to have cleared itself and displays an error page instead.

Missing (D) symbol next to a feed

Error screen

I think the app updating removed my default feed preference. Setting a new default feed does appear to persist.

Entering search term overlays results before selecting local/all

Bug Report

When using the search in the top right and entering text, some of the community results will be displayed on screen as unclickable text before the user selects local/all.

Results should probably be hidden/search after the user selects local/all instead of while the text field is being filled out.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click search in the top right.
  2. Enter some text into the search field.

When viewing a community, only 10 posts are viewable

Bug Report

  1. View a community with more than 10 posts
  2. Scroll
  3. No more posts will load, along with the message from the app informing the user that there are no more posts.

Changing certain appearance settings reverts app settings to default values after relaunching app

Bug Report

Describe the issue: Changing certain appearance settings will revert settings to default after relaunching. Other settings require the app to remain open for some time before they save.

I noticed this happening after enabling the drift database in settings. Unsure if it's related, just the first time in a while that I've made any changes to my settings.

I have tried clearing cache and reinstalling the app without any luck getting settings to save correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open settings and go to themes and turn on amoled theme (Setting that persists for me between restarts after leaving app open for a bit)
  2. Close and open app to make sure setting saved.
  3. Open settings > Post Customization > Sort: New and then close app.
  4. Relaunch app and the previous theme setting should revert to the default value of System instead of Amoled, and the sort setting will not have saved.
