The first update for Proton's privacy-focused chatbot offers major performance improvements
Reply in thread
I decided to ask it directly and it also didn't share. But weirdly enough, I asked about its water and electricity usage and it gave me a table. It mentioned Nemo Mistral, OpenHands 32B, OLMO 2 32B and Mistral Small 3 as the four primary models. Just sharing the info, I don't know much about the models because I avoid A.I. chats in general but I got curious because I'm familiar with Proton stuff and your comment got me curious enough to prod the clanker.

Trump Just Released His Plan to Revoke Birthright Citizenship. It’s Worse Than Imagined.

I'm wondering about this also except my lawful parents have been here only about 30 years. I don't know if their legal status when I was born is 'legal enough' for me to remain even when birthright was perfectly intact at the time. I'd probably have three options of countries to go to. But only if they will accept 'stateless U.S. citizens' is another matter because the Global North is gungho about anti-immigration and that includes asylum.

American transgender woman files asylum claim in Canada after Trump’s edict on gender

Stay on the school-to-work permit route for Sweden, they've changed things regarding asylum seekers just this year. I was considering Sweden but asylum seems very easy to retroactively revoke now. It shook my faith because I would have sought asylum and I don't want to risk even a small chance of returning to the U.S. I don't have a school or work connection but you do!! c: Best of luck on your travels and school. https://www.migrationsverket.se/nyheter/news-archive/2025-04-01-from-1-april-the-possibility-of-changing-tracks-will-end.html

GrapheneOS says Google is making life harder for rival operating systems and devices
Reply in thread
Graphene was my introduction to degoogling and I chose it because I was already familiar with the Pixel. Also that I had no idea what I was doing and their articles are clear to read. I did find it silly that I needed Google hardware but I just bought it secondhand instead of new/full price for 'do evil' Google profit.

Yes you may suggest! I've been vaguely glancing at the Fairphone with e/os from time to time, to keep in mind for the future.

That's definitely in the back of my mind. Knowing myself, I'd have a better chance with school/work route than the marriage one. I'm out of the scope of being a common romance partner so it would take luck and considerable effort xD It's easier to work and study. Thank you for your comment!
