I recently realized that planting flowers can earn coins, and those coins can be used to increase Pikmin storage.

That means I don't have to keep releasing Pikmin just because my storage is full.

When I can't find a good place nearby to plant the flowers I need, I've been using a GPS simulator to move to places where flowers have recently bloomed and plant there.
