Anti-nuclear. Used to be pro-nuclear because the energy density would allow for very compact energy production, but I don't trust the government (or corporations) to have any meaningfully concentrated nuclear material. Maybe solid-state nuclear batteries can be made to work and we can use that to dilute the nuclear material -- not sure about that yet.

Wasn't this was the original idea behind cryptocurrency? A lot of government legitimacy rests on currency and contract enforcement. If one of those was underminded, it'd go a long way towards eroding the government.

Don't get me wrong, cryptocurrency fundamentally misunderstood money, so it didn't work... but it's a really interesting idea. It'd require a lot. Decentralized conflict resolution (to prevent scamming/theft), some means of managing inflation without destroying supply-demand responsive markets, a way to manage wealth inequality without destroying savings / retirement. I can think of some mechanisms, but it'd probably take many tries - parallel systems and institutions are the effective path to change anyway, but after crypto it'd probably get the scam label. Plus writing the code in the first place would be a massive pain.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't illegal to hack your own car by now. People are very authoritarian about vehicles. They're fine with unreasonable prices, mass surveillance, facial recognition, endless registries, and forced subscriptions (yes, that's insurance) and eat up any justification the government gives them for it.

If they would have, hypothetically, used low-recoil subsonic rifles with suppressors (basically silent) to blow the cameras apart from a distance, they wouldn't be as much evidence against them. Maybe add an unregistered barrel and casing collector to prevent the bullet being used as evidence. Also, you can shoot from within a vehicle if you get the right angle and cover your plates. Hypothetically.

Maybe if you don't know what capitalism is. A lot of people seem to confuse capitalism with markets. It's had to imagine a world without markets, but capitalism is just an ownership system. It's easy to imagine a world made up of cooperatives. It's basically the same world we already have but everyone gets paid more and there are no shareholders.

There's nothing stopping people from working for or with cooperatives or not working for or with corporations. It's just that most people can't be bothered to care. If everyone stopped buying from corporations, corporations would die pretty quick. If everyone bought from cooperatives, they'd be a lot more stable. We're only picking winners and losers via government contracts. The res of the economy is a free for all.
