Iran and U.S. trade new strikes as Trump dismisses pressure to end war

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/48005753

Hey Guys, Long time no see. I am Back now and will be posting regularly on matters of our community and interests.

So, many people were thinking that this struggle between Iran and US may finally come to an end when the peace talks began, but as I stated in my previous posts, that this war will continue despite such news, because peace is not in the favour of US in this matter. Lets dig deep.

So, US has now finally conducted fresh strikes on Iran, that too mid peace talks which Trump was saying were going on pretty well previously. Iran too retaliated by attacking US bases. The thing is, this is going to continue most likely. The US is only acting as if it wants peace. It will make it look that way and will most likely keep developing his ground forces to launch a full strike. It will keep showing it wants peace cuz, who dosen't like moral high ground. It will at the same time keep developing its forces so much so that it will be too much for Iran to ignore and once it launches strikes, it will give US a viable reason to launch a full strike. US is currently striking to provoke Iran to do some movements so it can frame Iran most likely.

This is a very crucial time for Iran because the threat for IRGC is existential. US will not leave Iran like this, because since US has provoked Iran to this extent, it has given Iran both Political will and Public support to develop Nuclear Weapons, and it will, if US and Iran get on a peace deal (As we discussed earlier).

Lets see, what happens next. What do you think? Can this de-escalate according to you? Let me Know. To all Indians who enjoy our content, please join "BharatDefense" and "BharatReforms" to support us and to contribute.

Iran War News | US Iran War | Isran Iran War: Israel bombs south Lebanon ahead of high-stakes Washington talks with Beirut

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/47328616

As I had mentioned in one of my previous posts regarding Israeli PM Netanyahu's declaration that Israel will not participate in any ground invasion in Iran. Why? Because Iran is the distraction, the real target which people are still not realising is Lebanon.

Israel has its target clear, it will attack Lebanon as soon as US declares ground Invasion of Iran and it will destroy Hezbollah and may capture a chunk of Lebanese Land.

We are leading towards a the 3rd World war guys. The chances exist, but they are not that much as much people are exaggerating.why? Well because a world war will not happen unless major powers (US, Russia, China and India) will come face to face in any conflict.

Most likely what can happen, US may do a ground invasion in Iran, toppling the current government and establishing its puppet government, Russia will then annex Ukraine and establish its own puppet government there because they will now have a good excuse for it (Only if Russia makes the choice of trading Iran for Ukraine), China will annex Taiwan and India will take back POK from Pakistan and Aksai Chin from China. Though the last one has some chances of direct confrontations between major powers (India and China), but China is smart, it will never fight a two front war, it must abandon Aksai Chin to take Taiwan, because that is its utmost priority.

US will most likely either stayout if China invades Taiwan or will show minimal support because it will be engaged in Iran.

What do you think? Let me know.

DRDO unveils advanced armoured vehicles for combat support and deployment in Ladakh, deserts, riverine areas | India News - The Times of India

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/46548274

DRDO has recently unveiled its new future- ready indigenous armoured veichles. Vikram VT21 platform has been designed and developed by DRDO's Vehicle Research Development Laboratory and manufactured in collaboration with Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) attended the inauguration ceremony.

These systems are highly capable as they have ballistic level protection that too in just 15 tons of weight which is a very big achievement.

This system throws American Stryker totally even out of consideration let alone procurement. These indigenous system are amphibians which means they can operate in both land and water which the Stryker cannot even think about.

designed for deployment in diverse terrain like Ladakh, desert regions and etc. They can carry up to 8 to 10 fully equipped soldiers. Both platforms have been integrated with indigenously designed and developed 30-mm crewless turret, with advanced features to meet mobility, firepower and protection requirement.

What do you think? Let me know. Join 'BharatDefense' for further updates.

Iran closes strait of Hormuz again ‘until US lifts blockade’

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/46134524

So, we have finally came to a point where the things are again spicing up. Many people are currently making fun of US for blockading a strait that is already blocked, it is funny yes, but it is also effective.

So we all know, there is currently a ceasefire between them, and US during this time has blockaded strait of hormuz, not allowing Iranian vessels to pass to Iranian ports, which forced Iran to reverse its decision to open strait of Hormuz.

Why is it clever? If Iran retaliates before or after the end of ceasefire in April 22nd, then US will shout to the world "Look, they attacked first" and then would have a viable reason to attack. If Iran does not attack, then it will be as if getting choked in your own home by an external power, eventually getting overpowered in your own area.

What I am saying, is that in any of the cases, if US has decided for a ground invasion, then yes, it it s inevitable, however things will be completely different if US lifts the blockade, which does not seem to happening.

The best thing Iran can do, they can lift the blockade from their side and give an ultimatum to US to do the reciprocal by any due date, failing to which it would re-block the strait. This way, atleast Iran will have the moral higher ground and will not be termed as the "escalator" in this conflict. Though conflict will still be inevitable. Thats my view. What do you think? Let me know.

India Masters Nuclear Submarine Construction Amid Persistent Delays In Simpler Weapons Programs

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/45824293

As we all are seeing, Indian SSBN and SSN Programmes are moving pretty smoothly, but while this, we are significantly struggling with delays with general Disel Electric submarines. This is mainly because in the case of SSN and SSBN, it approach is quiet centralised as it is a matter of utmost priority, but it is not the same with Disel Electric Submarines.

We need some key reforms which centralise the approach or atleast make a body which looks on these projects on the behalf of the centre to help projects meet timelines, because as many DRDO scientists and even many bureaucrats have said, "We struggle not due to lack of technology but due to inefficient Bureaucracy".

India struggles significantly with less complex conventional diesel-electric submarines (SSKs), as exemplified by Project 75 (P-75), initiated in 2007 to build six Scorpene-class SSKs with air-independent propulsion (AIP) and land-attack capabilities at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) in collaboration with France's Naval Group. Despite being conceptually simpler than nuclear submarines, P-75 faced protracted delays, with the lead boat INS Kalvari commissioned only in 2017—well beyond the original 2017 completion target—and the program stretching into 2025, leaving the Navy with critically low submarine numbers as ageing Sindhughosh-class vessels approach 40-45 years of service.

I suggest that there should be body which checks developmental targets of all the projects. The goverenment should be able to appoint a specific development of a programme or its acquisition as "Project of Importance". This body would keep and eye on the project growth, wheather it is achieving timelines or not and it will submit a bi-annual report to the goverenment. If slacking, this body will have the power to investigate and suggest possible solutions.

Is USA really going to leave Iran, or is it just Strategy to buy more time?

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/45500271

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/45499964

Recently, Donald Trump has been saying that they are going to stop attacks on Iran very soon saying that Tehran has the "Will" for ceasefire. But does USA really plan to leave Iran? Iran on the other hand has been saying that USA is negotiating with itself.

Do you really think USA will leave Iran? Not at all, because if they do it now, mark my words, 'Iran will make Nuclear Weapons within a year'. This invasion has given them them not just the political will but also the resources required to do so, as we are seeing a new alliance nexus in building i.e North Korea, Iran, China and Russia. Iran now has a justifiable reason to make Nuclear bombs and legitimise them.

And this is exactly why USA cannot leave now. They cannot afford a nuclear powered Iran and hence this ceasefire tactics seems no more than a method to buy some time for ground invasion.

The toughest part for USA will be 'Iranian Terrain and its blessed Geography'. This is exactly why US's Operation Eagle Claw failed. I may hate US for its lack of morality at times, but what I absolutely admire about it is its ability to learn from its mistakes. Its hard to believe that after that failed operation USA would have sat idly. They must have learned about Iranian Geography and what systems will be most suitable against them, and if that is so, this will be a major problem for Iran if USA plans ground invasion. USA's all time friend Israel too has declared that they will not deploy troops in Iran in case of any ground invasion, which I had anticipated because Israel's priorities are set. They want Lebanon, and once USA is engaged in Iran, Israel will let its army loose on Lebanon, hence taking a big chunk of Lebanon and destroying Hezbollah.

If USA really goes foots on the ground in Iran, no matter how harsh it sounds, but in current world order, no country stands near USA in raw power, USA will eventually emerge victorious and if that happens, Russia can simply annex Ukraine as it will then have a legitimate reason. Can be called a silent deal between two. If the war is too prolonged, China can eventually seize the opportunity and invade Taiwan, which might not get US support as it would be engaged in Iran and at the same time. That would be the perfect time for India as well to take all of Kashmir from Pakistan and China, India can easily overpower Pakistan and China will never engage on a two front war, it will obviously choose Taiwan over Aksai Chin as Taiwan is the means for CPC to legitimise itself. We can say, it will be like a silent deal between major powers, ofcourse only if USA does a ground invasion.

What do you think? Let me know. Join "BharatDefense", we discuss this in even more detail there.

Iranian Foreign Minister Says Iran Allows India, China, Russia Access to Strait of Hormuz | DD News On Air

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/45120709

Recently, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that they have opened the strait of Hormuz for some friendly nations namely, Russia, China, India, Pakistan and Iraq. Only these five nation's vessels have access through and from, of Strait of Hormuz.

Due to the delays in the delievery of oil vessels, Indian goverenment has reduced duties drastically, as to avoid sudden increase in prices of petrol and disel.

This is particularly a good news for India, as now we will be out of any kind of oil scarcity danger. This also shows friendly ties of India with Iran.

For the positive diplomatic efforts of the goverenment, I feel they deserve a raise, atleast for now. So, kudos guys, we are back on business.

Live updates: Iran says U.S. is negotiating with itself; Trump to deploy more troops

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.ml/post/44995683

So, we have came to point from where we can say US is ready to negotiate with Iran but the thing is that maybe Iran is not ready to negotiate with US. The US has pushed forward its 15 point plan to Iran for Ceasefire through Pakistan.

Yeah..... Pakistan. The same Pakistan that attacked Iran in 2022, saying it was funding terrorism. Pakistan is currently confused regarding who to side with, should it side with one of its biggest monetary ally, US (a.k.a Sugar Daddy) or its so called Islamic brother Iran.

Iran has replied to this with: US is 'negotiating with itself

I think it is perfect opportunity for India to step in. Unlike Pakistan, India has good relation with Israel and US and as well as Iran. India can professionally conduct peace talks, these will greatly favour us.

If the current regime falls and Reza Pehalvi ascends to power, he will be no more than a US puppet. Even historically they have opposed us, like during 1971 Indo-Pak war. Not to mention, the power imbalance caused due to this, with Russian influence reducing significantly will be only negative for us. US can also use Iran in such a situation to pressurise India along with Pakistan then, which we must avoid at all cost. Many people may fantasize about Israel-India friendship, but they forget that all international relations are interest based. Many Indians forget that this same Israel refused to term people who executed the 26/11 terror attack on India as terrorists until only lately.
