Ce n'est pas vraiment une œuvre de théorie politique, plutôt un constat sur la culture de l'ère moderne.

Personnellement j'adore ce livre, il était le manifeste de ma génération (jeune adulte militant dans les années 00 qui s'est retrouvé embarqué dans la spirale de la crise de 2009). Une seule façon de savoir s'il te conviendrait, c'est de le lire, il est assez court.

Le livre est un peu badant, mais il n'est pas pessimiste ni déprimant je trouve.

Yes, even worse than Reddit, where this very comic had its comment section locked by the rcomics mods due to the hundreds of pissed off dudes crying in the comments. At least they get downvoted on Reddit. Lemmy really is dudebro land, and needs to fix that if it wants to grow further (which I would like as a Lemmy enjoyer).

Use a search engine and look up what a watermark is. It's text that's spread all over the image, making it impossible to use/share without removing it, thus making the removal of attribution impossible. I add a signature to my comics, not a watermark. It's small and, as you just proved by doing it, very easy to remove if you think a discreet attribution is the same as an advertisement.

The goal of signing the comic is not to make anyone "feel guilty" if they remove the signature (it happens often anyway so many people clearly don't care), it's to allow people who see this comic and want to see more by the same artist to visit the website where they can find more. On the website, there are no ads, no products being sold, it's purely there to share content with others who are looking for it.

Piss off and go bother people who care about your shitty trolling attempts instead, I'm not falling for your low tier bait (if you're not trolling then you're just being a gigantic asshole on purpose and that's not any better).

It's hard to advocate for armed resistance against tyranny XIXth century style after 150 years of military industrial complex development have made the state's power so asymmetrically strong. Guns nowadays kill kids in schools, but won't do much against tanks, jets, drones, etc.

I started by making comics with horribly drawn stickmen in Paint, black and white, no colors, yet they got a positive reaction due to the writing (example of my work 2 years ago).

Unless you suffer from a severe physical disability, there's no excuse, you can draw your own comics.

The best part is while drawing your shitty stickmen, you'll get better at drawing, learn to represent emotions and actions, develop a style, start to have a visual identity, maybe even get good at it who knows.

I learned to draw from scratch in my late 30s, two years later I'm doing illustrations for my own games - there's still a lot of room for improvement, but it proves practice pays off even without tryharding and you don't need AI to draw your comics for you. You just need to get over your fears of judgement, try your best with the skills you've got, and keep doing it on a regular schedule. Slowly, over time, you'll get better. I promise. It'll be fruitless and frustrating sometimes, but you'll get big visible leaps in your skills every now and then.

That's why I'm always upvoting and complimenting those who are just getting started and can't draw much yet, but have good ideas and a vision. I'd encourage everyone else to do the same. A lot of people tend to stop if they don't get positive feedback.

If you're considering making AI comics, try drawing them instead. Who cares if it's ugly, give it your best and share it with the world. You might not get many upvotes, but if your ideas are good enough you'll get a few comments and the motivation to keep trying, and that's a lot already. Don't fret over having no "talent", I don't have any either, still can't draw anything decent with a pen and paper :-)
