Milk is so calorie dense, I stopped to drink coffee after measuring it all out

It does depend on how much what milk you use, how much milk you use and how many cups of coffee you drink. I think 50 ml of semi-skimmed milk (1.5% fat) is around 22 calories. Now if you keep it to one or two cups that is pretty doable I think. But it does depend on you budget.

I try to eat between 1200 and 1500 so I do think every bit helps. Plus I only drink one cup at work so it is doable.

But I'll be honest I mostly drink no milk in my coffee anymore and just use some artificial sweetener. But I might splurge on one with frothed milk sometimes.

Current Program

I'm still doing the r/fitness beginner workout and I have liked it up till now. I love the simplicity of it. The think I am struggling with is squats because of my limited flexibility but I am making progress!

But at the moment I am starting to stall on my lifts so I am thinking of switching to a 531 program, perhaps the beginner one from the wiki. I have run it before and liked it but had to stop lifting because life got in the way.

The thing I do dislike about 531 is constantly having to adjust the weight on the bar. I like to set it once for my warmup and once for the actual lifts but I think I can live with it.

Might run one cycle soon and see if I still like it.

★OFFICIAL DAILY★ SV/NSV Thread: Feats of the Day! June 17th

Not sure if this counts as a SV or NSV but I finally stepped on the scale after a vacation, and I only gained 1kg. Not bad for 4 weeks of not really watching what I ate.

Trying to ease back into calorie counting and losing again. Going to keep my deficit small for a week. Around 250 calories so I can perhaps slowly make it bigger and prevent the all or nothing mentality.

Weekly threads?

I would like to see weekly threads. I mostly miss the daily check in and questions though.

I'm not sure how automation works on lemmy. Maybe someone who is more experienced with it can chime in?
